Barbara Leigh Martineau (1912 - 2000)

Barbara Leigh was born at Fulham, London, on 26 December 1912, the daughter of Francis Leigh Martineau (1874 - 1954) and Emilia Margaret Blathwayt Bean (1885 - 1962). She married Raymond John Gething (1916 - 1965, son of Charles Gething), on 30 September 1939 at St Hilda's Church, Griffithstown, Monmouthshire. Barbara Leigh and Raymond John had five children; David John, Barbara Jane, Richard Martin, Eleanor Mary and Sarah Kathrine. She died at Carleen, Cornwall on 8 May 2000.
